What is fashion merchandising

Because I am a fashion marketing student and I want to be a fashion buyer in the future. So it’s important to understand what is fashion merchandising. Here are some opinions of me about fashion merchandising.

The world of fashion is always changing, the competition is fierce.Garment merchandiser may specialize in manufacturing stage, sell, sell or buy.Documentary successful fashion textiles have a broad knowledge domains, they need to know now people are looking for and understanding they will seek in the future.This need people skills, because they may have to work with people from different ethnic backgrounds, age and lifestyle.In many cases, they travel around the world to get the materials and satisfy customers and manufacturers.

Clothing merchandiser may specialize in manufacturing phase, or buy. A successful fashion textile merchandiser has a lot of knowledge and good communication skill.

For my opinion, fashion merchandisers should have not only an interest but also a passion for fashion.
