Memphis's design movement encapsulated a postmodernist design in the 1980s, challenging the understanding of "good design" through colorful decorating and decorating products. Memphis's design team has created many memorable, colorful, bright, and innovative, furniture, lighting, textiles and even watches. The Memphis Design Movement, led by Milan, Italy, is a group of Italian designers, architects and writers. Including some just graduated from the University of designers and some famous design areas, such as: ettore sottsass, alessandro mendini series, martine demonstrations, journalist Barbara Radice.

Memphis's design movement reflects a sleek, black, non-humorous 1970s design, typewriter, minimalistic design architecture, camera, car, furniture; all visually similar, lacking individuality and individuality in the eyes of the Memphis team.
